Hi Reader,

No single analogy do I hear more often from creators and thought leaders than this:

I know I have all the pieces to the puzzle to build my dream business, but I just can’t quite put them all together.

Seriously, at least once a week. Chennel Basilio has said it to me.

I’ve been talking to Tim Grahl about this for months.

Amanda Goetz said it to me in our first conversation back in April.

How do you put the puzzle pieces together in your creator business?

This month we are digging deep, telling stories of creators just like you — honest struggles, great wins, and how they're putting the pieces together.

Introducing Tony, Alisa and DeeDee.

Tony & Alisa DiLorenzo | Founders One Extraordinary Marriage
After 15 years, 800 podcast episodes and 50,000 book copies, Tony & Alisa continue to help couples through authentic storytelling and community engagement. Now they're sharing secrets with you.

Their creator journey, like every business journey, involved struggles.

Their first live event? A grand total of two couples showed up. But they delivered with the same energy and dedication as if the room was packed. Fast forward to now, and they’re hosting sold-out events for hundreds of couples.

One of the biggest lessons they wish they’d learned earlier?

Sell from day one.

Waiting to monetize can lead to resistance when you finally do. They created a clear purchase path and nurtured it with email automation.

From the get-go, they focused on building a community, not just an audience. They began engaging deeply with their listeners and responding to messages from all over the world. Their secret?

Iterating based on feedback and knowing their audience inside and out.

DeeDee Moore | Founder
More Than Grand
DeeDee has been awarded the best of the best grandparents resource, featured in Huffpost, Scary Mommy, MarketWatch and built a strong community. She celebrates the wins and learns through the losses.

DeeDee’s most meaningful moments come from a steady stream of gratitude from the families she’s helped. While at Disneyland, she checked her phone and influencer, Scary Mommy, unexpectedly shared her reel and her IG blew up. This brought new influence and massive opportunities.

But the business has also had its challenges. When a family member became ill, it disrupted DeeDee both personally and professionally. But part of the challenge of solopreneurship is to figure out how to keep going, no matter what comes your way.

When DeeDee hit a revenue plateau, unable to pinpoint the next steps, she worked systematically to improve funnels, reach, and conversion rates.

While young parents love her content, she’s constantly balancing how much to cater to them versus focusing solely on new grandparents. In Creator School, she's worked through the Creator Business Blueprint, helping fine-tune her vision and audience.
